Our family-run hotel since 1908 is located in the center of the district town of Saalfeld, directly on the historic circular hiking trail.

Surrounded by the magnificent landscape of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, Saalfeld offers its visitors many opportunities for a varied program with its historic city center, the colorful Feengrotten, and the swimming pools.

Fishing enthusiasts will find the best conditions on the Saale near our house and can benefit from the experiences of our host, who is himself an enthusiastic fly fisherman.
